Convert SVGs¶

Turn SVG artwork into PNG, WebP, or JPEG copies from Finder. Use the SVG’s own dimensions, 2× or 3× scale, a custom factor, or explicit pixel dimensions.

Add and configure¶

1. Open Action Library and find Convert SVGs.
2. Choose a starter configuration and add it to My Finder Menu.
3. Select the new Menu Action and review its settings and availability rules in the Inspector.
4. Run it from a matching Finder context.

Starter configurations¶

• SVG to PNG
• SVG to PNG @2×
• SVG to PNG @3×
• SVG to WebP
• SVG to JPEG

Starter configurations set initial values only. Adding one does not permanently link the Menu Action to that starter.

What it can do¶

• Use intrinsic SVG dimensions
• Render at 2× or 3×
• Choose a custom scale factor
• Render to exact width, height, or dimensions

Typical workflow¶

1. Choose a destination format and size starter
2. Adjust output sizing in the Inspector
3. Run it on selected SVG files

Important details¶

• Appears only when every selected item is an SVG file. Folders and non-SVG files prevent the Action from appearing.
• Exact Size can change the SVG’s proportions.
• JPEG output cannot preserve transparency.
