Resize Image

Resize one or many images from Finder by scale, width, height, exact dimensions, or a fit box. Optional on-device AI enhancement is available for 2× and 4× enlargement.

  • Access: MenuSmith Pro
  • Finder availability: JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF

See the Resize Image overview and screenshots on the MenuSmith website.

Add and configure

  1. Open Action Library and find Resize Image.
  2. Choose a starter configuration and add it to My Finder Menu.
  3. Select the new Menu Action and review its settings and availability rules in the Inspector.
  4. Run it from a matching Finder context.

  • Use Apple-provided on-device AI enhancement for enlargement

Typical workflow

  1. Choose a sizing starter
  2. Adjust scale, dimensions, and processing in the Inspector
  3. Run it on one or more supported images

Important details

  • AI Enhanced processing requires an approximately 69 MB model managed by macOS.
  • Animated and multi-image files are not supported.

If MenuSmith asks for access, review Authorized Folders. If the Action does not appear, check Finder Integration and the Menu Action's availability rules.
