A shorter route

Bring the shortcut, not the whole folder.

A project can stay in its carefully organized home and still be one double-click away on your Desktop.

Open the real thing

The shortcut is a native Finder alias that points to the original item. Opening it takes you to the file, folder, or app you actually use.

Keep big folders in place

Reach a deep project folder from your Desktop without duplicating its contents or moving it out of your filing system.

Shortcut the folder you are already in

Use the Action on a selection or on empty space inside a Finder folder to create a Desktop alias for that folder.

A small convenience, ready when you need it.

Add the Action to your menu and choose whether it plays a sound when the alias is ready.

  • Native Finder aliases
  • No duplicate of the original content
  • Existing Desktop items stay untouched
